After an incredible sold out run in 2024 we are back! If you thought our hilarious romantic comedy was great in 2024 well we have news for you! We are back and better then EVER for 2025!!
We need incredible actors to help us make this hilarious romantic comedy shine on stage!
That's where you come in.....
Come and join Dimitri a 40-year-old olive harvester from a quaint village in Corfu Greece as he sets off on a side-splitting journey to fulfill his unlikely dream of becoming a soap opera star in the glitzy world of Los Angeles! Armed with his unyielding spirit, a hilarious culture clash ensues as he navigates auditions, casting directors, and eccentric Hollywood characters, proving that dreams can be as unpredictable and entertaining as life itself!

ROLES:
XARIS TZALIOTIS (25-35ish) - LEAD - Maria’s daughter and younger sister to Dora. Xaris is stunningly beautiful. Wholesome, generous, honest, hardworking and humble, Xaris would actually fit in quite well in a Greek village. She wants to raise a family and have children. Something that is rare in a big city like Los Angeles. Xaris has sacrificed so much for her family. She too is exhausted and at her wits end trying to keep everything together after her fathers passing.
DORA TZALIOTIS (35ish) - LEAD - Maria’s other daughter and older sister of Xaris. She is stunningly beautiful as well but she is the opposite of Xaris. Dora is built for LA. She is smart and direct, a critical thinker. You won’t be able to pull the wool over her eyes. She co-owns a successful talent agency in LA with Xaris’s ex-fiancé Harry. Her attire is a business suit and her skills in negotiating are second to none. However underneath her tough skin is a kind heart that just wants the best for people.
Supporting Roles
STAMATI XIMAROS (50-75ish) - SUPPORTING - The father of Dimitri and Sophie and also late husband to Eleni Ximaros. Stamati is a home grown village man who owns the village’s most prized olive grove, left to him by his family multiple generations before. His family name and legacy in the village is of the utmost importance to him. His old school mentality of a simple village life is all he knows. The unexpected passing of his wife Eleni changed his simple life.
SOPHIE XIMAROS (30-35ish) - SUPPORTING - Stamati’s daughter and Dimitri’s sister. Raised in the village Sophie is a typical village woman. Taught to take care of her parents until marriage then after marriage, take care of her husband and raise a family. She lives at home, doing her part, taking care of her father and the house chores.
PIP CROWLEY (50-60ish) - SUPPORTING - A British entrepreneur and father of Gus Crowley. A sly businessman Pip owns the only olive processing plant in the village, effectively keeping it a monopoly, just the way he likes it.
GUS CROWLEY (mid 30’s) - SUPPORTING - Pip’s son and Sophie’s fiancé. Gus is a spoiled, lazy, overweight man who, because of Pip’s fortune, has always had everything handed to him. He is also Pip’s accomplice when it comes to any schemes that Pip might come up with.
MARIA TZALIOTIS (Late 60’s) - SUPPORTING - Mother of Dora and Xaris and wife to her late husband Leonidas. A typical Greek immigrant with a heart of gold, Maria, a village woman herself, set out for America with her husband Leonidas to build a better life for herself and her family.
Featured Ensemble Roles- One actor may be given multiple featured ensemble roles. Please note the role of Alexandros has been pre-cast.
ALEXANDROS (mid 30’s) The island's Chief of Police. He is very good at his profession, with a compassionate heart, he always looks to do the right thing.
EMILY TESCHNOVITZ (16ish) The daughter of Mark Teschnovitz and Michael’s protective older sister.
FRANCIS VALENTINO (45-55) Mark Teschnovitz’s boss at General Hospice. He is an executive producer, a real power player in Hollywood. He is well respected and known in the industry.
GINA CASTING ASSISTANT (late 20’s) Mark Teschnovitz’s trusty assistant and casting associate.
GISELE (mid 30’s) The German actress and client that Harry had an affair with.
GEORGE SATS (mid 40’s) Dimitri’s best childhood friend. George considers himself the “Ryan Seacrest” of Greece.
MARK TESCHNOVITZ (56) Is a nine time Emmy award winning casting director who is the father of Michael and Emily Teschnovitz.
MICHAEL TESCHNOVITZ (12ish) The son of Mark Teschnovitz.
SPIROS THE GREEK DANCER (35ish) The old Greek Dancer employed by Maria until he is caught stealing the expensive alcohol and is subsequently fired.
STAMATELA (mid 30’s) The village's crazy person. Stamatela has been in the village all her life and since childhood her only love has been Dimitri. WIth crooked eyes and a love of photography, an odd match, it’s hard not to fall in love with her personality
