Alan’s Cross is coming back to Maxwell’s Concerts & Events on Thursday September 4th! This event will provide an opportunity to talk about music with like-minded fans. Alan will act as a moderator, storyteller, and will be there to answer all of your questions about music, radio, and music tech. They’re called “salons” because no two audiences are ever the same, each salon is completely different. And believe us, they’re a lot of fun!
Doors open at 7:00pm, the salon begins at 7:30pm

Alan Cross is an internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, consultant, blogger and speaker.
In his 40+ years in the broadcasting and music business, Alan has interviewed the biggest names in rock and is also known as a musicologist and documentarian through programs like The Ongoing History of New Music. He’s currently providing content consulting for 102.1 the Edge and Q107 in Toronto.
Outside of radio, Alan’s resume includes five books, hundreds of public speaking engagements, and a national music column for Global News. He’s also constantly engaged in voicework, researching, writing, and consulting for commercials, TV, movies, documentaries, and corporate video.
Another major project was The Science of Rock’n’Roll, a travelling museum exhibit that toured science centres across North America.
Alan is the host of the true crime podcast Uncharted: Crime and Mayhem in the Music Industry. He also attends music conferences and lectures at schools and events all over the world.
