Notes From Victoria: This piece was conceptualized as a celebration of unapologetic sensuality, expressions of femininity, and artistic freedom. It explores the balance between controlled clean lines and shapes, as well as the feeling of being free and playful with movement and expression. I chose New York because it provides rich imagery of this balance, with its electronic textures, breathy vocals, and immersive atmosphere.
Since this is an open level piece, it's designed to be accessible and adaptable to all levels, with opportunities to feature any unique skills or abilities! We will combine foundational chair skills and floorwork with musicality and stylistic performance. My goal is to facilitate a safe space where we can experiment, connect, and refine our movement to create a sensual and fun piece!
