Dogs: Cute, pettable, endlessly amusing… and so much than just a sweet furry face. Join us for The Brains Behind the Bark, a one-of-a-kind event at the National Academy of Sciences where science goes off-leash to explore how service dogs anticipate our needs and assist us, dig into the rigorous training required for elite search-and-rescue dogs, and generally consider the way that dogs think.
This event combines cutting-edge canine cognition research with working dog demonstrations to help you fully appreciate the complex and nuanced world of the species we call our best friend. And, of course, there will be plenty of up-close-and-personal time with volunteer therapy dogs… in case you happen to need some love and attention from a friendly Fido!
Don't miss your chance to see these cute doggies in action!
Also check out other Workshops in Washington.
