About the event

Saidi with 2 Canes, with Leilah Moon

Double the assaya, double the fun! Raqs al assaya, or dance with a stick, borrows movement vocabulary from the Egyptian martial art known as tahtib. In this class, we’ll challenge our coordination and musicality through combos set to saidi music, utilizing single and double cane. Y’alla!

Recommended for Intermediate 2 and up, or dancers with previous cane experience.
