Choreography Creation Workshop with Leilah Moon

Every song is a story. Whether the music you plan to perform has lyrics or not, when you approach choreography from the aspect of telling a story, this allows you to create rich, evocative choreography that will deeply connect with your audience, whether it’s a pop song or Umm Kalthoum or anything in between! In this workshop, we’ll map out our music using instruments, rhythms, tempo, feeling, movement concepts, and more to uncover the ways in which these elements can work together to create magic on stage. Bring a notebook, headphones and a song you want to work with!
