Jason Reynolds is back to kick-off the second season of his powerful programming series — Between the Lines! Join Jason in conversation with his special guest, writer and critic Lawrence Burney, founder of True Laurels, an independent magazine covering Baltimore’s music and culture scene.

Tap in with Jason and Lawrence for an inspiring conversation about “place as character” in relation to Burney’s upcoming book release. No Sense in Wishing, available July 8, 2025, explores the special moments in our lives when we discover an artist, an album, a film, or a cultural artifact that leaves a lasting impression, forever shaping how we understand the world — and ourselves.
