***ABOUT THE STORY***
Gladys Cole has ingeniously adapted Lewis Carroll's beloved "Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass" into a dynamic stage play. This vibrant theatrical production, featuring multiple acts and scenes, weaves together both classic tales, transporting audiences into Alice's surreal world.
The play commences at a fair, where a bored Alice chases a hasty White Rabbit and plunges down a rabbit hole, embarking on her extraordinary journey. Act I unfolds with Alice's arrival in a fantastical realm populated by talking animals, philosophical caterpillars, and the enigmatic White Queen. Amidst chaotic episodes like the Duchess's kitchen and encounters with the elusive Cheshire Cat, Alice wrestles with the illogical nature of her new environment. Act II escalates the absurdity, showcasing the Mad Hatter's tea party, a peculiar croquet match with the Queen of Hearts, and a preposterous trial. Ultimately, Alice awakens, discovering her adventures were merely a dream.
Cole's interpretation introduces novel characters, unexpected plot twists, and modernizes iconic elements. Notably, the production includes a "Father William Rap," "Golden Afternoon," "Formal Greeting," and incorporates contemporary music alongside original songs crafted by Cole, with music generated using Mureka AI. Enhancing the experience further is a collection of playful, original songs with lyrics written by Cole herself. The accompanying music, created with Mureka AI and authorized for commercial use, provides a truly unique auditory dimension to the production.
