In this week-long course, students will learn the fundamentals of watercolor techniques, such as wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, lifting and resist, glazing, color mixing and more. They will learn some basic drawing techniques as a foundation for their painting, and practice these skills through still-life and portraiture. They will also learn abstract and experimental exercises through watercolor that will help them unlock their creativity and express themselves.
ART ACTIVITIES:
MONDAY: Watercolor basic techniques and painting a zen tangle
TUESDAY: Color theory, coloring mixing, and painting life-still
WEDNESDAY: Painting landscapes outside
THURSDAY: Self-Portrait
FRIDAY: Experimental techniques and abstract painting
