If your child loves computers, robots, and all things tech, Social Bots is the perfect blend of play, problem-solving, and communication practise!
Designed for school-aged children (5–12 years), this program combines the excitement of basic coding with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and communicate with peers who share similar interests.
Using hands-on activities such as Osmo coding on iPads and robot battles, children will explore the fundamentals of coding while building key language and social communication skills, all guided by our experienced speech pathologists.
Each session blends creativity, teamwork, and technology, supporting your child to express themselves, share ideas, and develop confidence in a fun and engaging environment.
This program is NDIS approved and with the support of experienced speech pathologists, will help your child practice the following skills:
-Expressive and receptive language skills – sequencing, problem-solving, and following complex instructions.
-Social communication – connecting with peers, discussing ideas, and collaborating on shared projects.
-Self-advocacy skills – requesting help, communicating needs, and making choices during gameplay.
-Emotional awareness and perspective-taking – recognising differing opinions and responding respectfully.
-Critical thinking and reasoning – using logic and creativity to plan, predict, and problem-solve.
-Confidence and teamwork – learning to take turns, share roles, and celebrate group success.
Through play-based coding challenges and interactive robot activities, Social Bots helps children discover how technology and communication work hand-in-hand.
