Lake Macquarie Fishing Open
****TOURNAMENTS FOR ANY ANGLER****
Welcome to East Coast Sport Fishings" Lake Macquarie Fishing Open"
We have a slight change to our usual separate Flathead & Bream fishing weekends by combining them into 1 weekend & all Teams can submit both species.
Teams will be registering on the Fishdonkey App
There will be 2 Targeted Species:
Bream/Tarwhine & Flathead
ALL FISH TO BE MEASURED TO THE TIP & NO MINIMUM FISH SIZE
This will be a Catch Photo/Video Release Lure Fishing Comp.
There will be 2 Sessions over the 2 days
The event is to be held from Wangi Point Caravan Park.
Fishing will be anywhere in Lake Macquarie & all tributaries.
You can fish from a Boat or Kayak (Team members must be within 100 meters of each other during fishing times)
Up to 3 Anglers Per Team (You Can also Fish Solo)
Maximum 50 Teams
NO LIVEWELLS TO BE USED AT ANY TIME DURING THE EVENT
Individual Species Payouts
Prize Categories will be as follows:
Cash Payouts- Weekends Top 3 Teams (5 Longest Bream & 5 Longest Flathead)
$500 Cash for the Longest Bream
$500 Cash for the Longest Flathead Cash Payout
Prize for the Top Team Each Day for both Species
The entire event will be using the FishDonkey App to Register, Measure & submit all fish caught......
Fishdonkey Team Registration $50.00 (ONLY 1 FISHDONKEY REGISTRATION PER TEAM)
Cash Entry fee $250.00 Per Team (To be paid CASH on the day at key tag collection )
ALL TEAMS MUST USE A BRAGMAT THAT HAS MM INCREMENTS FOR ACCURACY
Your team registration time will be your start position & will be published prior to the tournament

DUE TO MULTIPLE SPECIES PAYOUTS WE WILL REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 30 TEAMS REGISTERED BEFORE SUNDAY 9TH February 2025 FULL PAYOUTS TO BE PAID...PAYOUTS WILL BE REDUCED IF LESS THAN 30 TEAMS ENTER
IF THE REQUIRED TEAMS ARE NOT REACHED PAYOUTS WILL BE REDUCED
