Family foraging adventures: Discover the fascinating world of mushrooms

Enjoy a beautiful autumnal wander with the family through the woods with founder of Jurassic Coast Mushrooms and local fungi expert, Andy Knott.. Join Andy as he finds some amazing specimens on this fascinating walk from the beautiful tree-encircled slice of woodland paradise that is Happy River Retreat.

You'll head out through wider Wareham Forest to spot and gather mushrooms of the season, discovering all about the wonderful world of fungi as you go. Head back to base where Andy will guide you through an identification table of collected treasures, showing you the edible, medicinal and incredible world of mushrooms that surround us. A walk through the woods will never be the same again!
