Are you keen to ride the new trails at Warburton Bike Park but don't feel super comfy or confident on the bike yet?
This clinic has been put together to help you learn to navigate the green/beginner MTB trails and fire trails safely and confidently so you can make the most of the new Warburton Bike Park.
We will cover:
- Initial Bike Setup
- Trail etiquette
- How to read the trail
- Body positioning
- Basic cornering/direction
This clinic is for women aged 18+ who are relatively new to mountain biking or are comfortable riding rail trails/around town. The group is capped at six people to allow for personalized feedback and group safety.

Where: Wesburn Park Trail Head
Duration: 3 hours (incl. snack break, exercises and riding a green trail)
Cost: $75 each
The clinic is run by Andrew Haughton, elite enduro/XC/downhill racer and skatepark extraordinaire, Auscycling MTB coach and experienced MTB Guide. Andrew is Wilderness First Aid qualified.
What to bring:
- Basic mountain bike in good working order (no fancy bike needed)
- Helmet (complies with AS/NZS 2063:2008 standard)
- Shoes you would normally ride in, closed toe design.
- Water bottle
- Any medication you might need
- Snacks
