Dorsette is a Moraga-based four piece post-hardcore group inspired by bands like Sonic Youth, Swirlies and Hum. Their music emphasizes dynamic shifts, nonstandard guitar tunings, and odd time signatures making every song a unique experience from the next.
SickFish is three college students based in Ashland, Oregon. With a sound inspired by bands like catalyst and kidcrash, they are touring their upcoming EP.
"Gutsy was created in the mind of a teenage Cormac Maher while daydreaming in his high school English class. He had the ambition of creating music that was poppy and could garner widespead appeal while also being inventive and genre-bending. Throughout 2024, Gutsy went through multiple lineup changes before settling on Lyla Kaszer on bass and vocals, Zeven Addison on the drums, and Ammon Obrien (sub Kyle Clark) on lead guitar. With the musical expertise of the three of them and Cormac's songwriting, Gutsy now performs regularly around the bay area and plans on releasing music in the near future."
