One Book One Wagga Gala Evening

One Book One Wagga 2025 culminates in style with a gala evening held on the stage of the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre.

Our featured author, Shankari Chandran (winner of the 2023 Miles Franklin Award for 'Chai Time at Cinnamon Gardens') will appear in conversation with Wagga journalist and radio presenter Tahlia Sinclair.

There'll be delicious catering from Castle Lane, and Collins Booksellers will be selling copies of Shankari's books, including this year's selected novel, 'Unfinished Business'. It's a thriller about murder, redemption, and international scheming in post-war Sri Lanka.

Wagga's biggest book club has been running yearly since 2014, and you can still be part of it! Pick up your copy of 'Unfinished Business' from the library, collect some like-minded friends, and join us on July 11. Tickets are just $40-45.
