NAIDOC WEEK CELEBRATION 2025
đź–¤ From the first Sunday in July until the following Sunday, NAIDOC Week takes place annually across Australia, honouring the rich history, culture, and accomplishments of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Celebrate the 2025 NAIDOC Week and the theme, The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy with a day of free festivities dedicated to sharing First Nations art and culture with the whole family.
Get creative in artist-led workshops, learn how bark paintings are made and relax with a storytime featuring favourite children’s picture books. Plus, see cheeky renditions of beloved camp dogs and dingoes in the Cats & Dogs exhibition – kids go free with any adult ticket purchase*.
*Cats & Dogs is a ticketed exhibition, entry is free for children (5 – 15 years) throughout the school holidays, 5-20 July 2025.
Reserve tickets online or at the Information Desk at NGV Australia.
