Author Event: Erin Makela

Join us for a reading, signing, and question and answer session with new MN author, Erin Makela. Makela will be at the Wabasso Public Library on Tuesday, June 17 at 4:00 PM to promote her first novel: "Worthy of Trust," a tale set during the American Revolution that follows a young girl, Whitley Endicott, as she conceals her identity in order to join the war effort.


Erin Makela is a writer, middle school teacher, and theater enthusiast. While she calls Worthington, MN home, she is always looking for her next travel adventure with her stuffed alligator, Swampy. Erin is a graduate of Luther College and Vermont College of Fine Art’s MFA program. When choosing music to write to, Erin’s go-to playlists are Broadway show tunes and sea shanties.
