Author Talk: The Coon Valley Line with Arlyn Colby

Join us for a fascinating author talk with Arlyn Colby as he presents The Coon Valley Line, a detailed history of the La Crosse & Southeastern Railroad. This engaging program highlights the short line railroad that once connected La Crosse to Viroqua, passing through towns like Stoddard, Chaseburg, Coon Valley, and Westby. Built in 1905 and sold to the Milwaukee Road in 1933, this line played an important role in regional transportation and local history.
The book features over 200 rare photographs, maps, charts, and diagrams, bringing the story of the railroad to life for history buffs and rail enthusiasts alike.
