An alien arrives in 1957 for a bit of sightseeing of the Civil War. Having missed that one, he decides to start another. He’s fascinated by all the new toys the 20th century has invented for making war and wants to play with them, and the General and the Newscaster are happy to oblige. Once a movie starring Jerry Lewis, the play is a comedic reminder of the human condition in the vein of My Favorite Martian, Alf, and 3rd Rock.
