Crash Test Racers - Physics of Force & Motion

Get ready to race, crash, and learn with Crash Test Racers! In this high-energy, hands-on physics workshop, youth will dive into the world of motion by designing and building their own balloon-powered race cars. Through friendly competition and creative problem-solving, participants will explore Newton’s Laws of Motion, discovering how forces like friction, momentum, and gravity affect the speed and distance of their custom creations.

Perfect for curious minds, this 30–45 minute workshop combines fun with fundamental physics. It's science in motion - literally!

Cost: $5/per youth – adults attend free!

Registration is non-refundable. Adults must remain with youth participants during the workshop. General admission rates apply if entering the Okanagan Science Centre exhibit spaces.
