ABOUT THE ARTIST
Irina Rimes (Born on August 22, 1991) is a famous Moldovan & Romanian singer-songwriter who established herself as one of the leading music artists in Romania and Moldova since the late 2010s. She is one of the four coaches of the Romanian talent show Vocea României.
With a unique appearance, full of sensitivity and special charm, Irina began her music career in Romania with a single that was a leader in the Romanian music charts for months, called „Visele”. By 2020 Irina has released three albums: „Despre el”, „Cosmos” and „PASTILA”.
Irina Rimes is the only Romanian artist to launch a unique project: the first musical trilogy. „Iubiri secrete”, written with dedication and inspired by the artist’s personal experiences, begins with „Iubirea noastra muta”, continues with „Da’ ce tu” and ends with „Haina ta”.
She became known to the international audience for successful collaborations such as: Irina Rimes x Cris Cab - Your Love, Irina Rimes x Jah Khalib - Навсегда and many more.
Born and raised in the Republic of Moldova, Irina started singing ever since she was a child. After taking part in the Moldova Star Factory competition, the artist decided to move to Bucharest. Irina became aware of her innate talent for composing, leading her to write her own songs and truly reveal herself to the public. Her debut single, “Visele”, climbed it’s way up to #1 in all mainstream tops in Romania. Moreover, the track kept its #1 position for months, thus becoming the anthem of that summer. Irina Rimes is also the first artist in Romania to write a musical trilogy: “Iubiri Secrete”. It was released in 2016 and comprised of three tracks: “Iubirea Noastra Muta”, “Da Ce Tu” and “Haina Ta”. Besides writing and performing her own songs, the artist also writes for other well-known artists in Romania such as INNA, Antonia and Andra. In 2017, she released her first album, “Despre El”. Based on Irina’s personal stories, feeling and emotions, the album features 10 tracks that are further finalised with a short film. Irina Rimes' second studio album, entitled “Cosmos”, was released on 10 December 2018 under the umbrella of Global Records and Quantum Music.
