Meet our newest pottery instructor, Marie the Potter! Hailing from Charleston, SC by way of Seagrove, NC, Marie brings a wealth of tradition and creativity to our studio.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll get to create your own one-of-a-kind Forever Flowers — no experience required! Marie will lead you every step of the way as you bring your vision to life by designing and sculpting your own one-of-a-kind piece of North Carolina Pottery. Whether whimsical, weird, or wonderfully expressive, your creation will be as unique as you are! The finished, glazed photo coming soon!
Date/Time: Saturday, August 30th from 5:00-8:00
Price per person: $69
This all inclusive price includes materials, instruction, tool usage, glaze selection, and 2 kiln firings.
This entire process can take up to 4 weeks, depending on the humidity level, and the time that it takes pottery to thoroughly dry between kiln firings. We'll update you again when your pottery is ready for pickup.
Come ready to play with clay, get a little messy, and create a truly personal piece of pottery. Perfect for beginners, families, or anyone looking to have fun with friends and try something new.

Important Information:
Beginners are welcome.
Dress to mess or bring an apron.
Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
Children under age 14 may join us in class, as long as an adult is registering for class with them too.
Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled
Registration allows for 1 person per class. Only those who have registered may participate.
Class starts promptly as scheduled.
At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
You will be notified when your project is ready to pick up. We will hold it for 90 days with monthly notifications by text or phone. If you haven't requested an extension or picked up your work within 90 days, your project will be disposed of at the gallery's discretion.
