Join us for a timely and thought-provoking evening hosted by Internet Archive Canada in honour of Canadian Web Preservation. This special panel event will explore the vital importance of preserving our digital heritage — and Canada’s unique role in that mission.
The discussion will take inspiration from Averting the Digital Dark Age: How Archivists, Librarians, and Technologists Built the Web a Memory, the acclaimed new book by historian Ian Milligan (University of Waterloo), which sets the stage for a rich conversation about the future of our digital past.
