In 2015 artist Naomi Steinberg embarked on a remarkable solo journey of 382 days and 55,965 kilometers around the globe, by land and sea. Her subsequent memoir, Goosefeather, integrates travelogue and philosophical musings, detailing the highs and lows of an unforgettable international adventure.
To complement readings from the Goosefeather book (which will be available for purchase), Naomi is travelling with a children's show inspired by her book, which uses the traditional Japanese art of kamishibai - a form of storytelling that employs a simple wooden frame with images inside, animated by the performer's voice.
Join us for an evening of delight with Naomi, just days before her cross-Canada book tour launches! There will be stories and music and snacks!
