Pollinator Lawn Workshop

Reduce lawn maintenance while supporting pollinators and increasing the diversity in your home landscape! Learn about types of alternative lawns, pollinator lawn installation, ecological benefits, alternative ground cover species, and companion host plants for various pollinators.

• Reduce input and maintenance of existing lawns
• Provide reliable food sources for native pollinators
• Transition a monoculture turfgrass yard to a more diverse landscape

Attendees leave equipped with resources for starting their pollinator lawn and seed sample for starting a 20 square foot area of “bee lawn” and resources to help them get started. Once installed with a pollinator host plant, participants can register their lawn with Plant. Grow. Fly.
