Fishing Basics and Fly Tying Workshop

Join ISU Polk County Extension along with A. Jay Winter and Tyler Stubbs from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for an interactive presentation on fishing basics and fly tying! Workshops are open to all ages and abilities.

Fishing Basics:
🎣5:30 - 6:30pm
🎣Learn fishing tactics, tackle necessities, public fishing locations, and get hands on practice
🎣No cost to attend

Fly Tying:
🪝7:00 - 8:00pm
🪝Learn fly tying basics, materials needed, and get hands on practice
🪝 Leave with hand ties lures
🪝$10 to attend

Participants can attend one or both of these workshops. There will be a 30 minute break between for refreshments and questions.
