Seed Starting: From Packet to Plant

Get your hands dirty and your garden growing! This interactive lab-style workshop teaches the fundamentals of starting seeds and planning for a successful growing season. Perfect for gardeners of all levels, this program combines practical instruction with hands-on experience. Learn when to sow, which soil and containers to use, sowing techniques, lighting needs, thinning and transplanting, etc. In the final portion of the workshop, participants will sow seeds and practice transplanting techniques firsthand - taking home their own seedlings to continue growing. Attendees will leave with planning guides, seed-starting tips, and the confidence to grow a garden from seed to harvest.
