Calm Abiding meditation serves as the foundation for all other practices within Tibetan Buddhism.
The practice can bring us increased focus, peace of mind and so much more. Meditation has a proven record in its ability to improve health, awaken happiness and give a clear perspective on life. It enables you to identify the real causes of unhappiness and recover from stress, anxiety and tension. It is a very important skill to develop in these difficult times.
The course is suitable for those wishing to learn, deepen or renew their understanding of the Buddhist Teachings on Meditation practice.
* Those that have previously completed the Calm Abiding Course are welcome to book in for complimentary single classes (see dates below).
This course will be led by Dr Lan- Hoa Le, who has years of experience teaching the course.

Course Overview
This eight-week program is designed to nurture calm abiding through guided meditation, mindfulness exercises, and supportive group discussions. Each session builds on the last, promoting a deeper sense of tranquility and presence.
Weekly Schedule
Week 1: Sunday, 12th Oct - Introduction to Calm Abiding Meditation, body scan, and learning to poise.
Week 2: Sunday, 19th Oct - Qualified rounds of breath.
Week 3: Saturday, 25th Oct - Wisdom of Speech.
Week 4: Sunday, 2nd Nov - Super-qualified rounds of breath.
Week 5: Sunday, 9th Nov - Super-qualified rounds of breath with counting to enhance alertness.
Week 6: Sunday, 16th Nov - Obstacles & Antidotes.
Week 7: Sunday, 23rd Nov - Training the Elephant Mind.
Week 8: Saturday, 29th Nov - Where to Now?
