Join us on this day as we PLAY all over the museum and gardens in celebration of the International Day of Play. From big bubbles and big building, to artmaking, gaming, playful giveaways, and more, all ages will feel like a kid again and experience the joy of play. In partnership with Family & Children’s Services of Tulsa and Youth Services of Tulsa.
During Daily Open Hours:
SAMURAI: Armor from the Collection of Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller
Villa Scavenger Hunt with prizes
Guest Lounge: Japanese Garden Play
Studio Lab: Outdoor Art Studio featuring SAMURAI-inspired artmaking prompts
Self-guided scavenger hunts and activities for gardens and galleries available on the Rotunda Kiosk
Mulch Kitchen: Play pretend at Cleo’s Cafe in the gardens
Chimera Café: Enjoy lunch items, hot coffee, cold beverages, baked goods and more
Scheduled Playful Happenings:
9:30-11:30am: Little Garden Explorers (For families with children 5 & under)
9:30am-3pm: Great Hall Gaming Lounge
9:30am-3pm: Big Building Fun on Westby Patio
11am-3pm: Giant Bubbles on the South Slope
