Big Daddy D & the Dynamites

Big Daddy D and the Dynamites bring a powerhouse blues show featuring standout talent from the International Blues Challenge. Frontman Darryl Porras—2020 IBC Semifinalist and 2022 Finalist Runner-Up—leads the charge with dynamic guitar work, joined by the soulful vocals of Betty Jo Vachon and Heritage Blues Hall of Famer Dr. Bob Sellani on drums. Rounding out the lineup are Rick Mutter on keys (also a 2022 IBC Finalist Runner-Up) and longtime bassist Scott Jeffy.

With a sound that’s both classic and fresh, this band has lit up top stages across Arizona, including the Colorado River Blues Festival, Glendale Blues & Jazz Fest, and the Arizona State Fair.
