About the event

Operation: Summer Showdown
We are back at the SNL field for a day of (hopefully sunny) fun!

Field Fees WILL be $25.00

Chrono will start up around 11:00, with games commencing for the day at 12:00.
We have the field until 6:00pm, so games will continue throughout the day until approx 5:30, then we'll begin packing up to go home.

Rental equipment and guns can be provided on a first come first serve basis, please reach out to myself directly if you're in need, or have any questions regarding the event.

After conducting the recent survey, we've determined that we wont be scheduling lunch breaks during games, however, players are permitted to sit out of games whenever they choose, and are encouraged to bring food / snacks and water along with them. (Please clean up after yourself, don't leave trash behind.)

The day will consist of various mini games and quick-scenarios, including:

Rounds of Team Deathmatch.
Rounds of Capture the Flag.
Rounds of Army of Two (or army of three depending on size)
Rounds of Hostage Escort (Protect the President)

More details and gameplay updates to be provided closer to the event.

Standard NS Airsoft / CCAC Rules and guidelines.
> Check with NS Burn Ban site before any use of PYRO, smokes, taggins, bangs, etc.
> Riflemen, including Gas Blowback Rifles (GBBRs) and sidearms, are limited to 1.5 Joules with no Minimum Engagement Distance (MED).
> Designated Marksman Rifles (DMRs) are capped at 1.9 Joules with a 50-foot Minimum Engagement Distance (MED).
> Bolt action rifles are limited to 2.3 Joules with a 100-foot Minimum Engagement Distance (MED).
> DMRs and bolt action rifles must be accompanied by a sidearm.
> The maximum Rate of Fire (ROF) for fully automatic guns is set at 30 rounds per second (RPS). Guns exceeding this limit will be restricted to semi-automatic fire.
> Only plastic Airsoft BBs are permitted for use; bio BBs are optional unless specified otherwise by event organizers.
> Each gun must undergo chronographing before the start of every game day, measuring in Joules with the specific BB weight intended for use that day. Any attempt to tamper with the chronographing process will be considered cheating and may result in expulsion from the event.
> Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include:
> Z87+ rated eye protection or higher is mandatory for all participants.
> Full seal protection is not compulsory unless specified otherwise by event regulations. While mouth and ear protection are recommended for close-quarters combat (CQB) matches, they are not obligatory. Participants are encouraged to use their discretion for their comfort and safety.
> Mesh goggles, glasses, or full-face mesh masks are prohibited as eye protection.
> Mercy and surrender rules are as follows:
> Players within 10 feet may offer a surrender to their opponent by calling freeze or surrender if they believe they have the upper hand or are at close range. The surrendering player has the choice to accept or decline the offer. However, refusing the surrender may result in being shot at close range.
> Participants are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and exercise judgment during gameplay.
> Additional safety guidelines include:
> "No Duff" protocol is implemented for real-world emergencies occurring during gameplay, requiring immediate attention and cessation of gameplay until the situation is resolved.
> "Game on" is announced by administrators once the emergency is resolved, and gameplay resumes accordingly.
> Prohibition of blind firing, defined as shooting without visual confirmation of the target's location.
> Requirement for players to call themselves out when hit and await the designated respawn time.
> Reporting suspected rule violations to game administrators or AINS staff.
> Prohibition of relaying in-game information to teammates to maintain fairness and integrity.
> Above all, participants are reminded to prioritize safety and enjoyment throughout the event.
> In the event of questioning by event hosts, it is imperative to acknowledge their authority. Event hosts reserve the right to take immediate action, including expulsion from the current game, the day's event, or future events. Any misconduct observed will be communicated with other hosts and vendors to maintain the integrity of Airsoft events..
> Furthermore, random chronograph checks may be conducted during event days to ensure compliance with regulations. Participants found to be in violation will undergo verification with provided BB weights to confirm adherence to class-specific limits. Any breach of regulations will result in immediate removal from the event or the day's activities.
> These measures are implemented to uphold safety standards and ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants.***
