About the event

"Pigeon in the Park" Mini Camp

Hey there from Evergreen Learning Collective! We are so excited to host our first Summer mini camp, "Pigeon in the Park"! We love the quirky character by Mo Willems and look forward to the fun that we will have exploring the series!

Each session will feature two read alouds of "The Pigeon" books from Mo Willems' series, followed by a brief small group discussion featuring critical thinking focused topics (inspired by The Prindle Institute for Ethics "Teaching Children Philosophy" series) as well as hands on STEM and Art activities.

July 15: STEM: Building a "Bus", Craft: Pigeon Art
July 16: STEM: Washing Feathers, Craft: Pigeon Bed Design
July 17: STEM: A Pet for Pigeon, Craft: Cookie Decoration
