A tradition like no other! The Hoot Family Campout is ON for this year and we hope to see you all there. Join the gang for two nights of camping and musical fun on Mary Morris' farm in Trout Lake, WA, in the shadow of mighty Mount Adams. Arrive Friday, Aug. 15 and secure your "car/RV camping" set up in the back field, then plan on joining the Hoot-style musical fun that night in the legendary big barn. Saturday will be chill with adventures (hiking, swimming, etc) to be had in and around the Trout Lake area. We'll reconvene in the big barn for another night of music and dancing. Sunday morning we'll all gather at the barn for the traditional potluck breakfast before departure.
Music on Friday and Saturday night will be Hoot style . . . there will be a PA and a bass-and-drums backline. Musicians, please bring an instrument and possibly an amplifier if needed.
For all campers, there is a suggested donation of $20 per day per adult. Kids are welcome. Pets, especially dogs, are NOT allowed.
We'll provide more details (including the location of the farm) in the coming days and will hope to respond to your inquiries in a timely fashion. In the meantime, we're seeking a formal head count to share with our host so she can make the proper arrangements (ordering port-a-potties, etc.). So please, let us know as soon as possible if you plan to attend.
