The NMC Summer Jazz Band is excited to present this FREE concert to you featuring a great lineup of music and musicians! Joined by vocalist Emily Kuschell, the band will play music by Milt Jackson, Dizzy Gillespie, John Davenport & Eddie Cooley, Tadd Dameron, Billy Byers, George & Ira Gershwin, Herbie Hancock, Leslie Bricusse & Anthony Newley, Al Cobine, Irving Berlin, and Yoko Kanno. With a set like this, there is something for everyone to love.
Our event will take place in the magnificent Milliken Auditorium, situated in the heart of Traverse City, Michigan. Known for its state-of-the-art acoustics and comfortable seating, Milliken Auditorium provides the perfect backdrop for this musical extravaganza. The NMC Summer Jazz Band, a conglomerate of talented NMC students and community musicians, is all set to dazzle the audience with their musical prowess.
