The Big Day (From Wherever You Are)

A twist on a birding “big day,” we’ll document as many species as we can find (not just birds!) Throughout the day, explore your own park or neighborhood to see how many living things you can find – that includes plants, mammals, fungi, insects, birds, lichens, and more!

You can help raise funds for Tremont simply by observing and sharing life in your neighborhood. Here's how:
-- Go outside and notice life around you – plants, animals, bugs, birds, fungi and lichen all count!
-- Take pictures of the different species you notice.
-- Share those pictures in our Facebook event, via email, or through a quick and easy online form.
-- Watch the donations roll in! For every observation shared, Brandon Everhart, The Bearded Realtor, will donate a dollar to support Tremont’s environmental education programs (up to $1,000 – our biggest Big Day goal yet!)
