Apathy is Boring TO Presents: Full Plates, Fuller Hearts, a free community lunch that provides youths (18-30) a space to connect, communicate, and develop skills to fight against food insecurity.
This event aims to encourage and empower youth in Toronto/ Tkaronto to become active members in their community by participating in educational workshops such as gardening and pickling, along with opportunities to connect with others and engage in meaningful conversations.
Our event will be held at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre on Sunday, June 8 from 12:30 PM-4:00 PM. The venue is also accessibility-friendly.
Lunch will be provided by Pieces to Pathways. Food wil be nut-free, halal, gluten-free, and a vegan-friendly dish will be available as well.
PRESTO two-ride tickets will be provided at the check-in table for registered attendees to cover their commute to and from the event!
