Come join us for an epic night of music with Mekaal Hasan Band + Mike Murray Group ft. Mujeeb Mustafa Live at The Pilot! performing live at The Pilot.
In 2022 a chance encounter connected legendary Pakistani rock artist Mekaal Hasan with Canadian progressive fusion guitarist Mike Murray. What started as an online friendship has, through a series of incredible events, since become an entirely new version of the legendary Mekaal Hasan band based in Canada and featuring members of the Mike Murray Group (including Mike himself as musical director) and Mujeeb Mustafa on lead vocals. On August 10th, the worlds will fully collide as this spectacular collection of artists present a special jam performing music from the classic MHB albums Sampooran, Saptak, and Andholan, Mike Murray's debut album Horizon and upcoming new release, originals by Mujeeb Mustafa and more. This will be a special night celebrating the best of international musical collaboration and the legacy of one of the greatest rock bands of Pakistan, hosted at The Pilot in Toronto.
