Hollywood Suite's Movie Madness: ALMOST FAMOUS - 25th Anniversary Screening!

You voted and the winner of Hollywood Suite’s “Y2K” Movie Madness bracket is… ALMOST FAMOUS!



Hop on the tour bus with 15-year-old journalist William Miller (Patrick Fugit) as he follows the unpredictable frontman of fictional band Stillwater (Billy Crudup), while also bonding with one of his biggest devotees: luminous “band-aid” Penny Lane (Academy Award nominee Kate Hudson). Based on writer-director Cameron Crowe’s time as a young critic for Rolling Stone, this film is a wonderfully “uncool” ode to the ’70s rock scene and the people who loved it most. And, thanks to hilariously heartfelt supporting performances by Frances McDormand, Zooey Deschanel and the late, great Phillip Seymour Hoffman, it remains one of the best ensemble dramedies of the early 2000s.



So put on your floppy hat and oversized sunglasses and join Hollywood Suite at the Revue Cinema on Tuesday, June 24 for a 25th anniversary tribute to this “golden god” of the millennium. It’s all happening!
