Clay Critters

This week long summer class will allow students a chance to sculpt and mold a variety of fun and creative animals from both air dry and oven bake clay! Each class will feature a new critter that students will be guided step-by-step in creating. There will also be plenty of time for them to add their own unique details and additions. We will also be creating bases and small enviornments for many of the sculptures to be displayed in.

No previous art making skills are required, just a love for art and an eagerness to learn and create!

What you'll learn:

Students will learn a variety of clay building techniques and have the chance to work with a range of sculpting tools.

Students will also learn some basic model building skills as we work with an assortment of materials to create small environments for many of the clay critters.
