This evening holds deep personal significance, as it marks the first time I’ll be sharing a collection of music that has profoundly shaped my journey. These pieces are close to my heart, and performing them in Singapore—a place that has so warmly embraced my wife and me—makes this moment even more meaningful.
The recital will begin with 20 minutes of music performed on a Romantic guitar, a faithful copy of a historical Stauffer instrument. I’ll then switch back to a contemporary guitar to share selections from my recently released album, Obras Sentimentales, along with a few surprises that I hope will bring you joy.
It would mean a great deal to have you there as I offer this heartfelt tribute to the country and community that have given us such a generous welcome.
