Starfleet Command Transmission: Mission Update – Away Mission to Ticonderoga, NY – Dual Tour Adventure!

Attention, crewmembers! Our upcoming away mission has been upgraded to a full-scale, cross-century adventure. Not only will we be exploring the meticulously reconstructed Star Trek Original Series Set Tour—where you'll walk the decks of the legendary USS Enterprise—but we’ll also beam into the past with a tactical reconnaissance of Fort Ticonderoga!
Prepare to engage with history as we explore an 18th-century stronghold that played a key role in the battles for Earth’s independence. Whether you're a Starfleet officer or a history buff, this mission promises adventure at every turn!
Expect a day-long journey, being transported to each destination aboard a comfortable coach, where you can relax, socialize, and strategize for the adventures ahead—whether that means commanding the USS Enterprise or navigating 18th-century fortifications!
To ensure seamless coordination of ticketing and transport, all crew must complete the Registration Form by Stardate 5/1/25.
MISSION SPECS:
Coach: $52/seat
Star Trek Set Tour Admission: $20/person (includes tax)
Fort Ticonderoga Admission: $20/person
Itinerary:
Departure: Concord Starbase (Park and Ride, 139 Iron Works Rd) at 0630 hours (6:30 am), with a secondary pickup at West Lebanon Starbase (Target, 200 S Main - parking lot on left side of building, on Sierra side) around 0730 hours (7:30 am).
Set Tour Schedule: We will arrive at the Star Trek Set Tour by 0945 hours, ready to step onto the decks of the USS Enterprise. Tours will begin at 1000, with groups of 15 beaming aboard every 15 minutes. By around 1200, our entire crew will have completed their mission—having walked the halls of Starfleet history and boldly gone where many fans dream to go!
Mess Break: Enjoy a well-earned lunch at a local restaurant in Ticonderoga around 1230 hours. Refuel before the next leg of our mission!
Fort Ticonderoga Tour: Arrive at the fort around 1345 hours (1:45 PM) for check-in. Explore the historic stronghold, attend engaging demonstrations, and grab a late-afternoon snack while immersing yourself in 18th-century history from 1400 to 1700 hours (2:00 – 5:00 PM).
* Admission for Fort Ticonderoga includes 3 guided offerings: a cannon firing demonstration, and Fort Ticonderoga Museum and Key to the Continent guided tours.
Return: Estimated arrival back at Lebanon Starbase around 1930 hours (7:30 pm) and Concord Starbase by approximately 2030 hours (8:30 pm).
Note: There will be no scheduled meal stop after our visit to Fort Ticonderoga. However, food is available on-site, or you’re welcome to bring your own provisions.
Crewmembers are highly encouraged to don their finest Starfleet uniforms, historical attire, or any mission-appropriate gear for this adventure! Whether you report for duty in a gold command tunic, channel your inner Vulcan, or embrace 18th-century frontier fashion at Fort Ticonderoga, dressing the part will make this journey even more immersive.
(We’re formulating a Plan B in the improbable event that our coach doesn’t reach full capacity. As part of our contingency planning, you’ll find a few questions asking if you’d be willing to pilot your own shuttlecraft (a.k.a. personal vehicle) and possibly take on a few fellow crewmembers for a carpool mission. Your cooperation ensures that, no matter what, this away mission proceeds at full impulse!)

Tour and coach tickets are not refundable, but can be transferred to another person.
