Join Kritter Scouts for an interactive lesson on relationships in nature! This is geared towards 8-12 year olds but all are welcome💚 Come learn about parasitism, commensalism, and mutualism!
🦎We will meet by the playground at the pavilion.
Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (Optional extended care until
12:00 AM for an additional $5-10 depending on number of students)
📲 SPACE IS LIMITED
🤗 RSVP Required - please follow the ticket link to do so!
We’ll kick things off with an open discussion on what a food web is and the types of relationships we can find through them.🐥🐊
💛🔎After "identifying" these relationships we will play a life size card game. Students will be assigned an animal and have to find their matching "buddy" then determine their relationship💪🏼
🐾We will then talk about how our friend circles can determine our walks in life! It is important who we surround ourselves with... are we with mutualists or parasites? How does this affect our relationship and walk with God?
🎨To wrap up our time students will make a food web themed craft inspired by what we’ve learned!
