NYC’s forests play an important role in the health, safety, and sustainability of our communities—providing clean air, reducing extreme heat, improving mental health, and creating habitat for wildlife. As we work to create a long-term vision for protecting and expanding our urban forests, we want to hear from you!

At this workshop, you'll:
🌿 Learn about NYC’s Urban Forest Plan and why it matters
🌿 Explore the unique ecological history of Pelham Bay Park and your borough’s forests
🌿 Provide input that will directly inform the Urban Forest Plan and its priorities
🌿 Share your experiences and ideas to help shape the future of NYC’s natural areas
🌿 Connect with neighbors, community groups, and environmental leaders
