28 ნოემბერს წარმოგიდგენთ საჯარო ლექციას, რომელსაც გამოფენის კურატორი, ხელოვნებათმცოდნე კონსტანტინე ბოლქვაძე წაიკითხავს. ის ამჟამად ჩვენს საარქივო ფონდში დაცულ გრეგორ დანელიანის მემკვიდრეობას იკვლევს.
გრეგორ დანელიანი (1950-2021) თბილისური სომხური სკოლის თვალსაჩინო წარმომადგენელია. ხელოვანთა ეს კოჰორტა ისეთ ცნობილ სახელებს აერთიანებს, როგორებიცაა: სერგო ფარაჯანოვი, გაიანე ხაჩატურიანი, ალბერტ დილბარიანი და სხვები.
შემოქმედებითი და პიროვნული ძიების პროცესში, ხელოვანი სხვადასხვა სტილსა და ტექნიკაში მუშაობდა - კუბიზმში, ექსპრესიონიზმში, სიმბოლიზმში, პოპარტსა თუ კოლაჟში. ამის გამო, მისი გამოფენა დროსა და სივრცეში ერთგვარ მოგზაურობას ჰგავს.
საბჭოთა დოგმატიზმისაგან თავისუფალი ხელწერის გამო, დანელიანი, როგორც ხელოვანი, დიდი ხნის მანძილზე მივიწყებული იყო. დღეს მისი ნამუშევრები ევროპისა და ამერიკის მუზეუმებსა და კერძო კოლექციებშია დაცული.
2024-2025 წლებში ლონდონის Bonhams-ის პრესტიჟულ აუქციონზე გრეგორ დანელიანის ტილოები - “ცირკი" და “სიმშვიდის საბურველი” რეკორდულ ფასად ($24,600 და $25,900, შესაბამისად) გაიყიდა.
გამოფენა “გრეგორ დანელიანის კაპრიჩოები” 30 ნოემბრამდე გაგრძელდება.

Your last chance to discover the exhibition "Gregor Danelian's Capriccios" at the Art Foundation Anagi archive space.
On November 28, we present a public lecture by the exhibition’s curator, art historian Konstantine Bolkvadze, who is currently studying Gregor Danelian’s legacy preserved in our archival collection.
Gregor Danelian (1950–2021) is a prominent representative of the Tbilisi Armenian artistic school – a cohort that includes such renowned figures as Sergei Parajanov, Gaiane Khachaturian, Albert Dilbarian, and others.
In his creative and personal search, Danelian worked in a variety of styles and techniques – Cubism, Expressionism, Symbolism, Pop Art, and collage. For this reason, the exhibition feels like a journey through different times and spaces.
Because of his free, nonconformist artistic language, unbound by Soviet dogma, Danelian remained overlooked for many years. Today, his works are preserved in museums and private collections across Europe and the United States.
In 2024-2025, Danelian’s paintings “Circus” and “Veil of Serenity” achieved record auction results at the prestigious Bonhams London – selling for $24,600 and $25,900, respectively.
The exhibition “Gregor Danelian's Capriccios” runs until November 30.
