About the event

2025 LARA Field Day Weekend!
Join LARA for our award winning field day operation in 2025!

We will again be setting up our stations in conjunction with our generous sponsoring agencies at Lake County Government. Come and see your local amateur radio club at work, as we work on another "top 10" ranking. HF, Satellite, VHF/UHF, data technologies will all be utilized and on display. Visitors, licensed and unlicensed are welcome!

6/27 Friday: Setup 5pm-8pm
6/28 Saturday Setup 8am-1pm. Operating from 2pm local until Sunday at 2pm.
6/29 Sunday Demobilization 2pm-4pm.

This is an "around the clock" operation, many helpers, operators, setup specialists and more are needed. Contact Glen AA4UC and Jason K4AUS our Field day chairs for additional via the "contact us" tab. LARA members see the FD2025 slack channel for additional details.

(All volunteers and participants must attend on site safety briefing, are required to sign in/out from the facility, and will be required to follow posted rules).
