Hatch Beauchamp Primary School - Literary Festival!
We are very proud to present our very first Literary Festival and would like to extend a very warm invitation to our community and beyond, to please join us on Saturday 12th July at Hatch Beauchamp Primary School for the spectacular culmination of events with Bluebirds Theatre Company, alongside Clive Pig and Gina Griffin, presenting a joyous show of Musicians of Bremen!
We open at 11am so please bring a blanket and a picnic and join us for a day of fun and entertainment - there is no entry charge and everyone is very welcome. We hope you will also enjoy our exhibition of the work produced during the week, especially in our two workshops with visiting authors, Clive Pig and Richard O’Neill.
We have been incredibly fortunate to be supported by Hatch Beauchamp Parish Council, Hatch Beauchamp WI, Somerset Community Fund and through you all with the support you have given to us, FOHBS, and our wonderful school.
We would like to also invite you to take part in our festival and submit a piece of writing (either your own or something that you have read and it's made an impression) which we would like to make into a presentation that can be seen on the Saturday. This can be anything you like...from a song, to a poem, a story, a book review, a musing, a limerick....and anyone can take part whether you're 4 or 94! There is no competition, it's just for fun.
