Rope Mat Workshop

Learn how to make these fabulous rope mats on your sewing machine, we will be wrapping strips of craft cotton fabric round the rope as we go ideal for any fabric scraps! You can make 1 large 30cm placemat or 4 coasters please let me know at the time of booking. Although all materials are included please bring your own craft cotton scraps if you want to incorporate your own colours/designs. We will be using 3cm strips.

Suitable for those that already have a basic knowledge of sewing on a sewing machine. Bring your own machine or borrow one of ours, please let us know at the time of booking. A denim needle might be useful as the rope can be quite thick for some machines. Also please bring your own scissors.
