Tamworth Regional Gallery will be welcoming our smallest members of the community into the Esther Halliday Studio and the Gallery for a series of creative and sensory classes on a Tuesday and Thursday morning!
Facilitated by our art educators, children and parents/caregivers will explore art-making activities together. Including drawing, painting, paper craft, sculpture and more.
Creative Play will run for an eight-week term starting from Tuesday the 6th of May - Thursday the 26th of June 2025.
With two class options available: Tuesdays 10.30 and Thursdays at 10am.
This term we will be looking at and exploring the Australian Museum's 'Mini Museum Learning Program - Caring for the Coast'. With children learning about how to properly care for collection objects, whilst investigating and exploring New South Wales' Coastline, utilising objects, dioramas and audio.
