Grief & Grace Gathering: Dinner & Community Support

Many in our UCT community are walking the way of grief right now. How unwieldy is grief! You can’t schedule it. You can’t write a to-do list for it. You can’t do what others have done…because every person’s grief story is their own. It unfolds in its own time and in its own way. And it’s hard. It’s just hard.

On Tuesday, April 29, at 6:15 p.m., we’ll have our first gathering on the porch to eat a light supper and share stories about our grief journeys.

The newly-formed Bereavement Aftercare team will be hosting another Grief & Grace Gathering on June 2 at 6:15 p.m. The Bereavement Aftercare team also will be interested in hearing how our UCT community might support those who are grieving. Your feedback will help us shape to a Bereavement Aftercare ministry that will, we hope, be beneficial to everyone in our UCT community.
