Frisco Fiasco

Tahlequah Community Playhouse, Inc. presents "Frisco Fiasco" written by Dennis Tibbits and directed by Criss Pearson. The play revolves around the murder of Mortimer Cadsworth, railroad tycoon responsible for bringing the Frisco to Tahlequah. Six local business owners are introduced as suspects: Ida Claire Bordum, owner of the boarding house, and her daughter Sarah Mae Bordum; Dewey Cheatem, former assistant to Mortimer; Dub Downs, former hog farmer; Bea Driven, owner and operator of the General Store and Stagecoach stop; and Sly Skeemer, president and sole shareholder of Tahlequah's only bank. Ben T. Wooster, United States Deputy Marshall, comes in to solve the mystery. This is a murder mystery fundraiser for TCP.

Performances are held at the Tahlequah United Methodist Church Activities Building, 301 W Delaware St. Dinner is catered by The Red Rooster Bistro & Bakery in Wagoner, OK. Paid reservations must be made by 5pm on Wednesday, July 9th. Tickets are $45 each and are available at Morris-Cragar (830 S Muskogee Ave), Vivid (109 N Muskogee Ave), or by calling Box Office at 539-234-9444.
